EVP TAPP Roller Primary Clutch for Kawasaki Teryx H2

The Kawasaki H2 is a badass machine, but the OEM clutching hampers it. The stock three-arm clutch works well, but it is 1970s technology. The Patented TAPP Primary Clutch is an upgrade in both technology, adjustability, belt life, and smoothness. Engineered specifically for the H2 and its high-revving nature, the TAPP Primary will help get you dialed in regardless of your riding style, tire size, or elevation.

ROLLER SPIDER DESIGN: creates less friction in the movable sheave compared to button spiders for a much more responsive setup

CENTER BEARING: NEW black nitrate coating (black finish) adds an extra layer of hardness, prevents rust corrosion, and reduces friction for even smoother clutch operation

LARGER ROLLER: roller size has been increased from 2mm to 3mm, making a huge difference in longevity of the clutch bearing particularly under high horsepower and harsh conditions

POST: updated with additional material and new heat-treating process, allowing the clutch to be over-torqued from factory specs by preventing the clutch from slipping on the shaft (necessary for high-horsepower builds and/or drag racing setups)

MOVEABLE SHEAVE: added material with the new roller spider design, reinforcing the clutch towers for greater load-bearing capabilities

CLUTCH COVER: the billet aluminum clutch cover now features larger "windows" to allow additional weight without having to modify the clutch cover

FAN BLADE KIT: included on TAPP Primary to reduce operating temperature of your clutch by forcing cooler air from outside to the internal components inside the clutch

HORSEPOWER & ENGAGEMENT: Kawasaki TAPP Primary Clutch Assembly includes calibrations for Stock, EVP Stage 3-91, and Stage 4-100 Tuning at 2200 RPM and 3000 RPM Engagement

Calibrated for use with the bone-stock H2 secondary clutch or TAPP Secondary Clutch (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THE H2!), additional TAPP Clutch features include cooler operating temperatures to extend clutch and belt life, responsive power put down via excellent belt grip, and easily adjustable weight profiles that allow your TAPP to evolve as your H2's power level evolves. DURABLE PERFORMANCE: Designed with the durability that high-horsepower UTV's demand, TAPP clutches are built from billet aluminum and other high-tech materials that can withstand extreme heat and extend clutch life, so you can spend more time riding and less time in the shop. EVP has used TAPP clutches on our all-out drag race Can Am X3 and Polaris XPT vehicles with very high engagement launches without failure. The OEM primary clutch is reliable up to about 300 hp, but an EVP Spec TAPP primary can easily handle anything from 200-500+ hp and all terrain and riding styles - drag race, duning, trail riding, rock crawling, short course and desert racing - all with the unrivaled quality, durability and performance expected out of a TAPP Clutch.
